Photoshop Tutorial: Creating Animated 3D Text

  1. First, download the Photoshop¬†Project File, so you can follow along with the tutorial. Then we click on “Window” and then “Timeline”. And the Timeline window will be opened.
    If you don’t know how to create 3D text in Photoshop you can check out this Tutorial.

  2. After the “Timeline” window has opened, we click on the “Create Video Timeline” button.

  3. Then, we click on the 3D Camera Position and create a keyframe in the beginning, and then we move a couple of seconds in the timeline and zoom out and create the end keyframe.

  4. That’s it, all we have to do now is to export our animation by clicking “File” “Export” and “Render Video”.

NOTE: If 3D doesn’t work or is grayed out: 3D feature isn’t compatible with 32-bit operating systems, and only available in Photoshop CS6 EXTENDED version, as well as versions CC and beyond. Some video cards may not be supported.
